Based on this data, we’ve found the following averages for cleaning costs in California:
- 1-bedroom: $64.31 (up 0.45% from Q1)
- 2-bedroom: $90.91 (up 0.07% from Q1)
- 3-bedroom: $145.68 (down 0.48% from Q1)

Historical Average
Over the last year, cleaning costs have remained steady across the board for one, two, and three-bedroom properties.
To better understand the context of the market, we have illustrated the historical average of rental cleaning costs in California from 2021 Q1 to Q2. This data comes from completed Turno projects and is not priced by the company.
1-bedroom rentals, represented by the dotted yellow line, have shown a very slow increase since Q1 of 2021. 2-bedroom rentals, indicated by the dotted purple line, have seen both upward and downward trends in the past year. Lastly, 3-bedroom rentals, depicted by the dotted turquoise line, have shown a steady incline in price, then starting to plateau going into summer of 2021.
Overall, despite industry growth in Q2 of 2021, average cleaning costs in California are remaining in the same range with no significant increases or decreases.
