1. Set firm check out time

Enforcing check out time is an important measure. It’s important not only for days of back to back guests. It is also so that your cleaners can come in after the check out time for the turnover. Commonly, guests complain that they have a later flight than the check out time and therefore have no place to store their bags. A solution for this problem would be an option to store guest luggage in a keycode locked shed on your property. This will keep your guests happy and may mean a better rating for you!

2. Confirm guest has checked out

This step can be done in different ways. You can contact the guests themselves to confirm they have indeed checked out, but it is smart to double-check. If you live near the property, you can check that the property has been vacated.

3. Notify cleaners that guests have checked out

It is important to book a cleaner for the guest check-out date when you receive a reservation. Although the cleaner is scheduled to come the guest check out time, it is still courteous to the cleaner to confirm that the guest has checked out. Once you have confirmed that the guest has checked out, you can now notify the confirm with the cleaner that the property is ready to be cleaned. You also have the option to have your cleaner confirm that the guest is gone and that there is no property damage.
