1. Maintain an Entrance Area

Your guests are most likely going to be tired when they arrive. Create a space for them to drop their coats, suitcases, and travel items. If you’ve got carpet, make sure to leave an area for wet or dirty shoes. If no shoes are important to the integrity of the floors, you can say so in your website ad.

2. Get Them Edible Treats

Have you ever stayed somewhere while traveling and found chocolates on your pillow? Something to eat after traveling is nice, especially if it is at the convenience of your room. Buying a pack of chocolates, or baking some cookies (which leaves a pleasant smell), will indefinitely surprise and delight your guests.

3. Get Them Drinkable Treats

In addition to a tasty treat, get a drinkable treat as well to refresh your guests.  A pack of water, beers, or soda will do the trick. Your guests will have their thirst quenched, leaving them at ease and relaxed in your Airbnb.

4. Write Them Notes

Thank your guests for choosing your Airbnb over the others in the area. A hand-written note or thoughtful welcome message with personalized names can be an excellent touch. Travelers will have a nice token of your appreciation to carry with them and share with others about their amazing stay at your Airbnb.

5. Stach A Bathroom Kit

Sometimes people forget a toothbrush, mouthwash, or even hand sanitizer. Leave a few small disposable toiletry items for the bathroom that people can use during their stay. You can find these items in a Walmart or Target near the travel toiletries section usually close to the pharmacy.

6. Provide A City Guide

As a local Airbnb Host (if you are), you know the best places for food, entertainment, and even places to go to hear a local band play or celebrate a national holiday. Create an Airbnb guidebook for your guests to read. This will add to their overall experience by providing more value over competitor Airbnb hosts.

7. Follow Up & Rate

After your guests’ stay, make sure to follow up with a positive review (if they were great guests). Leave a great comment, and ask them to share their Airbnb experience and let them know that they are welcome to come back during their next stay.

8. Clean Your AirBnB

Sign up with Turno for your vacation rental cleaning and use the COVID-19 sanitation processes. Every stay is 100% better when you have a clean ‘BnB to stay in. A cleaner room receives better ranking in comparison.
