One, Two, and Three-Bedroom Cost

The cost of vacation rental cleaning varies depending on the size of the property. In this infographic, we compare the difference in cleaning costs between one, two, and three-bedroom properties in Kentucky. In this case, we see that one-bedroom properties cost $37.21, two-bedroom properties cost $51.43, and three-bedroom properties cost $102.57. These numbers have changed since the previous quarter. The cleaning cost of one-bedroom properties has dropped by nearly six percent. Furthermore, three-bedroom properties saw a decrease in price by nearly four percent.

Historical Average

If you direct your attention to the bottom-right quadrant of the infographic, you will see a line graph that displays the historical average cost of vacation rental cleaning in Kentucky. The yellow line represents the cost of cleaning a one-bedroom property. The blue line represents the cost of cleaning a two-bedroom property. Finally, the green line represents the cost of cleaning a three-bedroom property.

As you can tell, the cost of cleaning a one and two-bedroom property remained relatively stagnant throughout the year. However, the cost of vacation rental cleaning for a three-bedroom property had a major rise between Q4 of 2019 and Q1 of 2020. After that large spike, the price began to slowly level out. Different factors affect the cost of cleaning each quarter. Sometimes it is determined from the demand for tourism, the number of Airbnb listings, or other external macroeconomic factors.
